GDC Deutschland GmbH has announced that all rental agreements and employees will be terminated by September 30, 2026. This also affects the Depot branch in Lübeck's Citti-Park. Already at the end of June, the branch in LUV Shopping had to close its doors.
However, there is a small glimmer of hope: the Depot brand could be sold. In this case, there is a possibility that some stores may reopen with new rental agreements and operators. Whether and which locations would be affected is currently still uncertain.
The news of the closure was first reported by the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa). For Lübeck's Citti-Park, this means another change.
