The construction work on Ratzeburger Allee in the first construction phase of the Radroute Plus between Stresemannstraße and Mönkhofer Weg is nearing completion. To renew the top asphalt layer, a full closure of the roadway is necessary.
The closure will begin on Monday, September 7 at 7 AM and will last until Monday, September 14, 2026 at 12 PM. The full closure extends from Stresemannstraße to the junction of Mönkhofer Weg. However, access to these streets will remain open.
A detour for traffic on Ratzeburger Allee has been established via Sankt-Jürgen-Ring and Kronsforder Allee. Bus traffic will also be rerouted during the closure to ensure smooth connections.
The properties between Stresemannstraße and Mönkhofer Weg will not be accessible by car during the closure, but can be reached on foot at any time. Access for emergency services will be continuously ensured.
Good news for pedestrians and cyclists: Foot and bike traffic is not affected by the closure and can pass the construction site at any time. After the full closure, paving and marking work will follow, so that the entire section will be completed by the end of September.
